The “Glass within the Glass” – Double-walled Glasses by Zieher!


The double-walled glasses which are made up of borosilicate-glass (heat and chemical resistant) are mouth-blown and offer an optimal view when presenting meals and drinks.

Borosilicate glass is of very high quality and stands out due to its temperature resistance from -200 up to +400°C.
Because of the hollow space between the two glass walls which acts isolating there is no formation of condensation even if the drinks are cold and the outside temperature is high – the drink stays cold and the tablecloth dry.
The isolating effect as well ensures that the glasses stay cold on the outside when hot food or drinks are being served. So there is no need for any handles.

Moreover the difference in form between the inner and the outer glass causes interesting effects which highlight the optical impression of the meals.

The series which consists for example of miniature glasses, long drink glasses, a glass carafe and a container for ice cubes promises sophisticated visual appearance combined with good isolation.

Logos, decoration or fonts can be put on the glasses to give them an individual touch. Those are applied between the two walls of glass which guarantees protection from dirt and abrasion.
