Currently a new trend is observable in sophisticated catering: small, even tiny, portions are being presented in miniature dishes, sometimes only on spoons. Glass and china miniatures, in a large number of variants, display tiny portions of delicious food to their best advantage. Thus the diversity of dishes gives the guest the opportunity to experience culinary delights.

ZIEHER offers a large choice of meanwhile 50 different miniatures. Whether glass, stainless steel, or bone china, the ‘Petit Chef’ series of miniatures adds an adequate frame to every kind of food. They can be combined with buffet trays in glass or slate, and illuminated by Zieher’s ‘Lightning Buffet’ system. These supports for trays and plates, available in three different heights and two different diameters, feature innovative LED technology illumination and offer nearly unlimited possibilities in creative buffet design.
The buffet table can thus be transformed into a playful combination of shapes and colours that seeks comparison. A special highlight is the illuminated container in acrylic glass that attracts everybody’s attention if filled with ice. Its size is conform with GN, rendering it possible to use every kind of GN-size chafing dish for the presentation of cooled food and at the same time visually enhancing it.
