„Solid“ – Bread on the table and on the buffet!

While developing the “Solid“ series, the core idea was finding a clever way of serving bread.

Heiko Antoniewicz who is also responsible for both the “Modul“ and “SelectionA“ series is currently gaining fame with his book “Bread”.

In collaboration with Antoniewicz, Zieher designed and developed various bread containers which offer a wide range of usage due to subdivisions and suitable inputs made of glass or porcelain.

The appealing presentation of bread is not only important for the individual table; it is equally essential on a breakfast buffet to be able to present a variety of baked goods in an atmospheric manner. This is why the series has constantly been improved and developed further.

Slanting displays which take in wooden trays facilitate a clear presentation of different types of bread. A suitable cutting board for bread with crumb collector, exchangeable grillage, a cutting board made of end grain and various bridges complete the series and guarantee a healthy and diversified breakfast.

European walnut wood forms the raw material for the “Solid” series. It is known to be one of the most precious and most beautiful types of wood whose warm brown color gradations and intensive and distinctive grain make every single product unique!
