Hermann Pflaum
Together with his brother Andreas Pflaum, Hermann Pflaum has directed the by now legendary Pflaum’s Posthotel in Pegnitz since 1963.Mr. Pflaum is one of the founding fathers of the Nouvelle Cuisine, and he has gained all awards the gastronomic scene has to offer.
He has written four cookbooks, and has performed as chef for the Emperor of Japan, as well as for VIPs of art, politics, and sports. He was a professor at the hotel school in Pegnitz, as well as a founding member of the Culinarien Institute of Germany.
Hermann Pflaum has had a great number of TV appearances, but he still vigorously continues being his own maître de cuisine at home in Pegnitz.
